LLM is designed for the candidate who want to pursue its career in Practicing career, While MBL is a Master's degree to pursue its career as a Corporate lawyer, Law officers, Big MNC's,Foreign MNC's etc. MBL is being designed of 2 year course wholly in Corporate/business law. NLU- Bangalore is one of the top college in Law, it also offers MBL course. Certificate from top, College bring good opportunity in career.
LLM and MBL has different course span and difference in value they add to the CV. LLM is a one year course while MBL is a two year course. Bachelor's in law is a pre requisite for LLM while that's not the case with MBL. LLM is academics oriented, after completing your LLM you can appear for civil as well as judicial exams, you can start teaching at a law school, work as a legal advisor in MNCs, practice litigation etc. While MBL that is Master in Business Law is as it seems a business or finance oriented law program. You can do MBL if you want to increase corporate job prospects but you certainly can not teach after doing MBL only. Students will non-law educational background can also do MBL but the credibility of MBL has always been in question as MBL didn’t found any mention in UGC’s accredited course. Two years to invest on a course that would not add much to your CV, in my personal opinion, is not a much smart choice. Thus you should not take this as only course. You can do LLM and opt. for MBL as a side course or while practicing law you can opt. for MBL as a distance learning course.
LLM has much more importance in the field of law than MBL but it doesn't do much to increase the job prospects in Multinational Companies as much as a MBL does
