Yes, You might have to show an affidavit claiming what were you doing in the past year. This document will not be visible or asked for on the registration form rather it might be needed during verification or PI. The document is a formality and what you were doing during the gap year is generally immaterial, still keep in mind that if your document states a drop or medical issues it will be favorable during PI.
Many other entrances ask for the same document during PI including NDA. So to be on the safe side, I'll advise you to take the document with you while going for verification or PI.

Select course and choose college and so on, this process is online based while there will be counselling through offline mode.
DU has opened the admissions from yesterday i.e. 20th June. Admissions will be on merit except for 14 courses where the admissions will be on the basis of performance in the entrance exams.
